בְּלָאוֹת, (of בְּלָי; בלי) outworn garments. Keth. V, 8 מתכסה בבְלָאוֹתֵיהֶן וכ׳ she wears her winter clothes in their outworn condition in the summer. Ib. 65ᵇ מותר ב׳ the entirely outworn clothes (= שחקים Mish. l. c.); a. fr.—2) the woman’s right to claim compensation for the wear or ruin of the things which she brought along as her property (v. מלוג, a. צאן ברזל).
