בָּחוּר, chosen. Sabb. 105ᵃ (ref. to א̇ב̇, Gen. XVII, 5) I have made thee א̇ב a father of the nations, ב̇' נתתיך וכ׳ I have made thee a chosen one among the nations. Gen. R. s. 76, beg.; a. fr.
