אַקּוּפֵי, (נקף, קף) curlings of the web, anything sticking out of the web (threads, knots &c.). Sabb. 75ᵇ האי מאן דשקיל א׳ וכ׳ whoever takes threads out of clothes on the Sabbath, is guilty of an act of finishing; v. פַּטִישׁ. Cmp. אַקָּפוּתָא.
