אַפְקָרוּתָא, (פקר; v. אַפִּיקוֹרוֹס) making free, irreverence, contempt of the Law and its teachers. M. Kat. 16ᵃ לאפיק׳ לאלתר for contempt of the Law excommunication is pronounced forth with (without warning). Snh. 100ᵃ מי מיחזי כי אפק׳ Ms. M.
