אַפֹּופְסִין, (ἀπόφασις, ἀπόφανσις) verdict, dispensation. [Variously corrupted: איפופסין, איפוספ׳, איפרפס &c.] Y’lamd. to Gen. III, 1 quot. in Ar. (ref. to Prov. XVIII, 7) the fools give out האפופסין שלהן their own verdict. Pesik. R. s. 44 איספוסין, אפוספיס (corr. acc.). Pesik. R. s. 46 (ed.
