אֱלָהוּת, (v. preced.) Deity, divinity. Gen. R. s. 46 כדי לאלוהותו—שאין העולם the universe and what it contains, are but inadequate manifestations of his divinity; a. e. Gen. R. s. 66 ויתן לך אלוהותו (some ed.) may he impart to thee his divine power; v. next w.—אֱלוֹהוֹת, v. אֱלוֹהַ.
