אִלְבָּנָא, (v. preced.) young shoot of the palm-tree, thin pointed branch. Pl. אִלְבָּנִין, אִלְבָּנַיָּיא. Cant. R. to VII, 9 the palm … has no less מן תלת אילנין אלבנין (strike out אילנין) than three new (cutting) shoots. Ib. in our place they call לאלבנייא סנסנייה the young shoots sans’naya (h. סנסנים). [Num.
