אַזְכָּרָה f. (b. h.; = הַזְכָּרָה, 1) remembrance, mention (of Div. Name), recitation (of prayer); reference. Y. Ber. V, 9ᵇ א׳ שהיא מריוח the reference to rain (in the second section of the eighteen benedictions) which is an expression of satisfaction (plenty), opp. שאלה, the prayer for rain (in the ninth benediction) which is an expression of anxiety.—Y.
