Gitt. 23ᵇ העבד … רַבּוֹ של חבירו אבל לא מיד רַבּוֹ שלו a slave may receive a deed of manumission in behalf of a fellow slave at the hand of his fellow’s master, but not at the hands of his own master (if both slaves belong to the same master).
