    Af. - אַהֲגֵי same; Y. Ber. V, 9ᵃ הוא מַהֲגֵי באורייתא סגין ed. Lehm. (ed. מנהגו, מנהגיה) meditated much in the Law.
    Pa. - הַגֵּי (v. preced.Pi.) to sting, to point at with scorn. Targ. Is. XXVII, 8 מַגֵּי עליהון וכ׳ (ed. Lag. מיגי, Bxt. הֲגֵי, ed. Wil. הני, corr. acc.) he pointed at them with words (of scorn).
