    *. - תַּלֵּג to whiten, wash (wheat). Y. Pes. III, 30ᵃ top הורי … ומְתַלְּגָה ארבעה זמנין (ed. ומתלנה) allowed the millers to put a Tetarton of water to every Modius of wheat, and wash it four times; [Korb. ʿEdah: ומְתַלְּנָהּ swing it, fr. תלל; perh. to be read: מטננה, v. טְנַן].
