שְׁמָרָא, Targ. Jer. XLVIII, 11.—Pl. שְׁמָרַיָּא. Yalk. Jer. 321 ושתי ש׳ דכולהו דרי (not שאריא) and he (Zedekiah) had to drink the dregs of all those generations (had to suffer for all the sins of &c.).
