X, 14) רומוס ור׳ מתה אמם וכ׳ the mother of Remus and Romulus was dead, and a she-wolf was appointed (by Providence) to give them suck, and they built two large huts in Rome; Yalk. ib. 652. Y. Ab. Zar. I, 39ᶜ רומס ורומילס, v. צְרִיף. Midr. Till. to Ps. XVII, 14, אלו שני יתומין … רומוס ור׳ וכ׳ (not ורימילוס) this refers to the two orphans …, R. and R. for whom thou didst appoint a wolf &c.; Yalk. ib. 671; Esth. R. to I, 9 רומוס ורמילוס.
