רוֹבֶה II, (v. רָבֶה) saturation, sauce, dip. Y. Pes. X, 37ᵈ top ולמה … ר׳ שהיא רָבָה עמו and why is it (חֲרוֹסֶת) called robeh (saturation)? Because it is saturated with it (the wine that is put in as a sauce).
