קְשִׂיטָה, (b. h.) Ḳ’siṭah, name of a standard value; a jewel, also a lamb (v. כְּסִיתָּא). R. Hash. 26ᵃ כשהלכתי … קורין למעה ק׳ when I was on my way to Africa, (I heard them) call a m’ʿah ḳ’siṭah; לפרושי מאה ק׳ דאורייתא it serves to explain the Biblical ‘one hundred ḳ.’ (Gen. XXXIII, 19).
