Gitt. 28ᵇ מק׳ של נכרים וכ׳ if one heard from gentile jailers, ‘such and such a man is dead’, ‘such and such a man has been put to death’, you cannot allow his wife to marry again; Y. Yeb. XVI, 15ᵈ מקֹמַנְטְרִיסֵי המלך from the (Roman) king’s jailers.
