צְדַק, צְדֵיק ch. same , to be clear, just. Targ. Ps. XIX, 10 צְדִיקוּ Ms. (ed. זכיאו).
    Af. - אַצְדֵּיק to justify, do justice to. Ib. LXXXII, 3.—א׳ דינא to acknowledge the justice of divine judgment. Taan. 22ᵇ דקא מַצְדִּיק דינא אנפשיה וכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. מצדיק עליה וכ׳) that he acknowledged the justice of God’s decree over him, saying (Lam. I, 18) &c.
