פְּקוֹקֶלֶת, pl. פְּקוֹקְלוֹת (reduplic. of פָּקַל) ramification of sinews. Sifra Vayikra, N’dab., ch. XVII, Par. 14 (ref. to החלב … על הכסלים, Lev. III, 10) זה החלב שבין הפ׳ that means the fat between the sinews (in the loins); Tosef. Ḥull. IX, 14 פְּקוֹקְרוֹת; Yalk. Lev. 462 הפקוקרות (or הפְּקוֹקֶרֶת). Sifra l. c., ch. XIX (ref. to Lev. III, 9) להביא את החלב הסמוך … בין הפ׳ this includes the fat near the tail, which is the fat between the sinews.
