פְּדִיָּה, (preced.) redemption. Bekh. 12ᵇ (ref. to Num. XVIII, 15) לפ׳ הקשיתיו וכ׳ (the text) put it (the first-born ass) on an equal footing (with the first-born son) with regard to the duty of redemption, but to nothing else (any details of the law).
