עֲרַבְתָּא, = h. עֲרָבָה I, willow, esp. the willow branches carried in procession on the seventh day of Succoth (v. הוֹשַׁעְנָא); יומא דע׳, or ע׳ (sub. יום) the seventh day of Succoth. IV, beg. 54ᵇ דלא תעבדון … ולא ע׳ בשבתא that you do not appoint the blowing of the Shofar (the first day of Tishri) on a Sabbath, nor the day of the ʿĂrabta on a Sabbath.
