סְנֶה, (b. h.) prick, thorn, thorn-bush. Ex. R. s. 2; Tanḥ. Sh’moth 14 (expl. בלבת, Ex. III, 2) משני חלקיו של ס׳ (from the heart of) from upward of two thirds of the height of the thorn-bush. Ib. הם … אף אני בס׳ וכ׳ they (the Israelites) are in anguish, I (the Lord) also appear in the thorn-bush, out of a narrow place. Ex.
