סִבְבָא, (preced.; cmp. שֵׁיבָבָא) neighbor, borderer.—Pl. סִבְבַיָּא. Targ. Is. VII, 20 בס׳ ובמגריא בעברי וכ׳ (ed. Lag. בסיבכיא במגריא) read: בס׳ בעברי וכ׳ (במגריא being a gloss to our w.) among the borderers on the sides of &c.
