נַכַּי, (preced. wds.) deduction. B. Kam. 59ᵃ נכי חיה payment is made with a deduction of the expense for the midwife (which the husband now saves); נ׳ מזונות a deduction for nursing expenses (incident to a regular confinement). Y. ib. VIII, beg. 6ᵇ נותנין נכאי מזון the injured person must be fully indemnified, deducting what his ordinary alimentation would have cost; Tosef. ib. IX, 3 נכי מזון Var. (ed.
