III, 6 מֵעָיו לנבלים בני מֵעָיו לכנורות its large intestines are used for harp-strings &c., v. כִּנּוֹר. Nidd. 22ᵇ מכה יש לה בתוך מֵעֶיהָ has an internal wound (abscess); (Tosef. ib. IV, 3 מבפנים). Y. Naz. VII, 56ᶜ bot. תחת מֵעֵי הגמל under the belly of the camel; תחת מעי השקוף under the arch of the gate. Snh.
