מָלַג, (cmp. Syr. מלג, P. Sm. 2131) to pluck, to strip (of hair, feathers &c.). Tosef. Bets. III, 19 מוֹלְגִין את וכ׳ you may cleanse the head and legs of an animal (by scalding).
