מִינּוּי, (מָנָה) appointment to office, ordination. Y. Snh. I, 18ᶜ bot. (ref. to Ez. XIII, 9 ובכתב בית וכ׳) זה המ׳ that means the ordination (of teachers). Ib. 19ᵃ bot. [read:] מִינּוּיוֹ מ׳ its (his) appointment is valid. Y. R. Hash.
