מַטְרְקָא, (טְרַק I) goad, whip. Yoma 23ᵃ (expl. מַדְרָא) מ׳ קטירא דטייעי וכ׳ Ar. (ed. omit קטירא) a plaited whip of the Arabs the head (sting) of which is taken off. Ib. 77ᵃ דילמא מסוסיא ומ׳ Ar. a. Ms. M. 2 (Ms. M. 1 דמ׳; ed. ומרטקא, corr. acc.) perhaps yaḥef (II Sam. XV, 30) means without horse and whip?
