    Ithpe. - אִילְּחִישׁ 1) to be whispered to, be relieved by a whispered charm. Yoma 82ᵇ [read:] לחושו לה … לחשו לה ואִילְּחִישָׁא whisper to her that to-day is the Day of Atonement. They did whisper to her and she was relieved (of her morbid appetite); [Ms. O. ואילחיש and the embryo in her womb was quieted; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. notes 10 a. 20]. —2) to listen. B.
