כִּלְאַיִם כִּלְאַיִם, du. (b. h.; כלא, v. Ges. H. Dict. s. v.) junction of two, esp. Kilayim, the forbidden junction of heterogeneous plants in the same field, of heterogeneous animals by hybridization or by harnessing together, of wool and linen in the same web (Lev. XIX, 19; Deut.
