טִירָא, pl. טִירָאוֹת (v. טִירָה) places for augury, (templum). Gen. R. s. 83 (play on מטרד, Gen. XXXVI, 39) שהיו מעמידין טיראות וכ׳ ‘Rashi’ (in ed. Wil. 1878; text טוּרָיוֹת) they put up auguries for idolatry, v. טוּר I; Yalk. ib. 140 טיריון (read: טִירָיוֹת.).
