חַרְסִית I, (b. h.) pr. n., שער הח׳ Gate of Ḥarsith, one of the Jerusalem gates. Y. Erub. V, 22ᶜ (the Eastern gate) was called שער חריסית שהוא מכוון וכ׳ (corr. acc.) Gate of Ḥ., because it was facing the East; v. חֶרֶס II.
