*הַמְנֵיק, a sort of spoon or fork, with one end pointed and the other broad (similar to the cochlear, v. כּוֹכְלִיאָר). B. Mets. 25ᵇ סכיני וה׳ (Ms. R. המנק) knives and fork (which may have been cast on the dunghill inadvertently). Succ. 32ᵃ דעביד כהימנק (Ms. M. והוא דעביד לה כי הימניק) when the palm-branch is formed like a himnek (Rashi: like the top of the stylus).
