Sabb. 20ᵃ רוב הֶיקֵּפוֹ the larger portion of the surface of the wood (burning), opp. רוב עביו. Succ. 7ᵇ אם יש בהֶקֵּיפָהּ וכ׳ if there is room enough in the circumference of a round Succah to seat &c. Erub. I, 5, a. e. כל שיש בהיקפו וכ׳ whatever (circle) has a circumference of three hand-breadths, has a width (diameter) of one. B.
