הַיְידָּא הַיְידָּא, הַיְידָּה f. (= היי דא) 1) this very thing, even this, it is this. Y. Dem. I, 22ᵇ top ה׳ מחלוקת this very thing is controverted. Y. Sabb. VII, 10ᶜ bot. ה׳ משום נטילת וכ׳ this is because it is an act of killing. Y. Taan. V, 67ᵈ top וה׳ אמר and this he said. —2) (= הֵי דָא) which? where? Y. Maas. Sh. II, beg. 64ᶜ והַיְידָּלוֹן חמשים וכ׳ (= וה׳ לון) and behold, here are fifty two.—Gen. R. s. 84 (ref. to הַלָּזֶה, Gen. XXXVII, 19) הַיְידִּי ליה וכ׳ (= היידא הִי) behold, it is himself, he comes carrying his dreams; (Yalk. ib. 141 דיליה, corr. acc.).—Y. Snh.
