הֲזָדָה, (זוד) wilful act; use of the stem זוד in the Bible text. Snh. 16ᵃ אתיא ה׳ ה׳ וכ׳ an analogy is drawn between the law concerning the false prophet (יזיד Deut. XVIII, 20) and that concerning the rebellious elder (בזרון, ib. XVII, 12). Ib. והא ה׳ כי כתיבא וכ׳ but is not the term ‘wilfulness’ used in connection with death penalty?
