הוֹגָן הוֹגָן, (preced.) balance; only in כְּהֹ׳ (adv.) appropriately, reasonably, correspondingly. Gen. R. s. 93 כה׳ וכשורה עשה he acted (according to balance and line) exactly right. Taan. 4ᵃ שאלו שלא כה׳ made an unreasonable demand (making their actions dependent on chance); לשנים השיבו כה׳ two of them were answered properly (Providence favoring their ways); Gen. R. s. 60; Lev.
