דִּכְוָת־, (only with suffix of personal pronoun; v. כְּוָת) the like of, resemblance, appearance. דִּכְוָתִי the like of me, &c. Targ. Ex. XI, 6. Targ. Y. ib. דדִכְוָתֵיה ליליא וכ׳ that there was never a plague like that of this night &c.; a. fr.—Y. M. Kat. III, 81ᵈ (expl. דכמה, v. דּוּגְמָא) דִּכְוָותָהּ a resemblance of it. Yalk. Sam. 134 (prov.) מולידין ולא דִּכְוָתְהוֹן וכ׳ (Cant. R. introd. דלית כְּוָותְהוֹן) parents of incomparable virtue often rear children not like them at all; a. fr.—Cmp. דִּכְמָא.
