דּוּחַ , Hif. הֵדִיחַ (b. h.; v. דְּחַהּ) [to brighten,] to wash off, cleanse, rinse. Mikv. VII, 3. Ḥull. 8ᵇ מֵדִיחַ he must wash the meat (at the place where the knife passed); a. fr.—Tam. IV, 2 בית המְדִיחִין the washers’ hall where the offering meat was washed.—Y. Ab. Zar. III, 42ᵈ bot. לָדִיחַ = לְהָדִיחַ.
