דַּד ², Ab. Zar. 26ᵃ she may smear poison לד׳ מאבראי on her breast outside.—Pl. דַּדִּין, דַּדַּיָּא. Targ. Is. XXXII, 12 (ed. Lag. תדין).—Lam. R. to I, 1 רבתי (חד מאת׳ 6) ותרין מזגין אילין תרין דדיא (not דדא) the two bottlers (in the riddle) are the two breasts. Gen. R. s. 98 יתברכון ד׳ וכ׳ blessed are the breasts which nursed such a son.
