דָּגָה, (b. h.) same, mostly collect. all kind of fish, pieces of fish. Ned. 51ᵇ if one says, ‘I will taste no דג, he is forbidden to eat large fish &c.; if he says דגה he is forbidden small fish &c. Ib. ד׳ משמע גדולים וכ׳ dagah implies both large and small (in Biblical language), but in vows the popular usage is followed. Y. Bets. II, 61ᵇ top; a. fr.
