דָּגָה דָּגָה, (b. h.) same, mostly collect. all kind of fish, pieces of fish. Ned. 51ᵇ if one says, ‘I will taste no דג, he is forbidden to eat large fish &c.; if he says דגה he is forbidden small fish &c. Ib. ד׳ משמע גדולים וכ׳ dagah implies both large and small (in Biblical language), but in vows the popular usage is followed. Y. Bets. II, 61ᵇ top; a. fr. ערכים סמוכים
