בַּד V בַּד V, (בדד) single stalk, twig; also (b. h.) pole, bar. Zeb. 18ᵇ; Yoma 71ᵇ; v. preced. Keth. 17ᵃ ב׳ של הדס myrtle twig. Succ. 44ᵇ even one leaf וב׳ אחד and (on) one twig. B. Mets. 24ᵃ anything on which something is suspended ב׳ קרו ליה is called bad.—Pl. בַּדִּים. Y.
