    Af. - אַבְגַּר to produce a rough surface, to heat and bruise by friction. Nidd. 66ᵃ שפופרת אַבְגּוּרֵי מבגר לה Ar. (Var. אנג׳ מנג׳, ed. אפג׳ מפג׳) will not a tube bruise her?—Keth. 65ᵃ מבגר לה (the ropes of the bedstead) hurt her.
