*אִימְּטִין, (= איתמ׳, play on מִיטָּה and אמיטתא) those who go to bed with the setting in of darkness (a witty expression made up in oppos. to שיחרין, v. שְׁחַר). Ex. R. s. 47 למדו תורה דא׳ learn the teachings of those who rested well by night (as better fitted to teach).
