אוּזְיָא, (√אז, v. אֲזַד; cmp. קָצֶה) a piece, part, uzya, a market term for a certain portion (quarter &c.) of meat. Bets. 29ᵃ in Pumb. they call it א׳ ופלגא א׳ Ms. M. (ed. ופלגו א׳ corr. acc.; Var. אוסיא) an uzya and half an uzya.
