אוּבְשִׁין, a species of inferior grapes. Maasr. I, 2 הענבים והאו׳ משיבאישו Ar. (ed. Talm. B. והאב׳ משה׳; Talm. Y. הבאושין) grapes and ubshin are subject to tithes from the time they are called בְּאוּשָׁה q. v.—Y. Ter. VIII, 45ᵈ top ענבים ואו׳ וכ׳ grapes or ubshin for a sick person.
