רָאָה II, (b. h.) raah, name of an unclean bird. Ḥull. 63ᵇ דאה ור׳ וכ׳, v. דָּאָה II. Ib. ר׳ זו איה … ר׳ שרואה ביותר raah is the same as ayah, and it is called raah, because its sight is exceedingly acute (ref. to Job XXVIII, 7).
