הֲבָאָה f. (בּוֹא) 1) carrying, bringing. Bicc. II, 2 require הֲבָאַת מקום to be brought to the Temple place (Deut. XII, 5 sq.). Ḥag. 4ᵇ ישנו בה׳ is subject to the law of offering festive sacrifices. Y. Sabb. III, 6ᵃ הבאת לונטיות carrying home the bathing sheets; Y. Erub. VIII, 25ᵇ top; a. fr.—Pl. הֲבָאוֹת. Yoma 47ᵃ (ref. to Lev. XVI, 12) הבאה … ולא שתי ה׳ the Law speaks of one carrying in but not of offering in two instalments.—2) bringing about, making.
