V, 56ᵃ לא מתמנעין רבנין דרשי בין ה"א לחי"ת (not דרב׳) the rabbis do not hesitate to draw analogies between words written with He and those with Ḥeth (as hillulim and ḥillulim); Y. Peah VII, 20ᵇ bot. Y. Meg. I, 71ᶜ bot. צריך לכתוב ה"א וכ׳ you must write the He of laădonay (Deut. XXXII, 6) so that it extend below the foot of the Lammed. Y. Sabb. VII, 9ᵇ bot. ה"א תמניא וכ׳ He may count for eight, as the rabbis do not hesitate &c., v. supra.—Men. 37ᵃ מידכה (כתיב) בה"י כהה (v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) it is derived from yad’khah (Ex. XIII, 16) with a He, which intimates (יד כהה) the weak (left) hand; a. fr.—Pl. הֵי"הִין. Y. Ber. II, 4ᵈ bot. עושין ה׳ חיתין they pronounce He like Ḥeth. Sabb. 103ᵇ
