שִׁיתּוּמָא, (שְׁתַם) opening, boring a hole. Ab. Zar. 69ᵇ דלא חייש לש׳ who does not apprehend that the gentile may make a hole in the stopper (to draw out wine, and close it again). Y. ib. V, 44ᵈ top שִׁיתּוּמְהוֹן, v. מֵגֵף.
