שַׁיִשׁ, (b. h.; = שושו, [smooth,] yellow marble or alabaster. Ḥag. 14ᵇ (in a mystic passage) כשאתם מגיעין אצל אבני ש׳ טהור וכ׳ when you arrive at the stones of pure marble, say not, water, water.
